This policy applies to the Android applications:

MAVLink Router (com.mavlinkrouter.app)
MAVLink Widget (com.mavlinkrouter.widget)
MAVLink Joystick (com.mavlinkrouter.joystick)

Summary

These apps route and display MAVLink telemetry and send RC override commands on the local device / local network. They do not collect personal data, do not create user accounts, and do not send analytics or advertising identifiers to us.

Data the apps process

Permissions (why they are used)

Internet / network state — UDP/TCP MAVLink links.
Foreground service (connected device) — keep routing / telemetry / RC streaming while another app (e.g. QGroundControl) is in front.
Display over other apps (Widget, Joystick) — optional floating panels over QGroundControl.
Notifications — Android requirement for foreground services.
Boot completed — optional auto-start after reboot when enabled in settings.
Request ignore battery optimizations (Router only) — optional; reduces the chance that aggressive OEM battery savers stop the router while a vehicle link is active. The router already runs as a foreground service.

Children

The apps are not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
